Product Overview:
Testing the insulation resistance of different components in a system (transformers, switchgear, conductors, motors, etc.) helps isolate and repair faulty parts. Insulation testing is critical for verifying the insulation integrity between the equipment and ground or adjacent conductors, ensuring product quality, as well as personal and equipment safety during operation. Conducting insulation testing prior to energizing the system confirms its integrity and enhances system performance. Such testing can reveal manufacturing process issues and equipment defects that typically remain undetected before a failure occurs. In the European Union, this test is mandatory, even for the smallest residential systems.
Performance Features:
